Firepool will build upon the established qualities of Taunton town centre by providing sustainable, high quality, mixed use development.
Firepool is bounded by the mainline railway station to the north and the town centre and Somerset County Cricket ground to the south, with a waterfront setting at its heart.
When complete, Firepool will provide:
• Over 500,000 sq ft of distinctive offices to accommodate major occupiers, alongside smaller scale buildings for local businesses.
• Waterfront apartments for people to live and work locally and modern town houses with private gardens providing family housing in the heart of the town centre.

• A boulevard creating a direct route from the railway station through the heart of Firepool to the River Tone, cricket ground and onto the town centre.
• A high quality Waterside Plaza providing a public space overlooking the River Tone.
• Open spaces, parks, riverside walkways and communal gardens for the use and enjoyment of Taunton’s residents and businesses alike.
Firepool will form a natural extension to the town centre, reflecting the existing character and local distinctiveness of the town, whilst creating an exciting 21st century waterfront destination.
